Photographer’s Note
This sight has been photographed many times, and with good reason. It is the Three Valley Inn, west of Revelstoke, on the main highway from the coast through the Rockies. The red colour and ornate architecture really stand out in this setting. I tried to get the feel of the steep-sided valley in the reflection in the lake.
Scanned from a slide. Polariser used. I applied an unsharp mask in Photoshop to lighten up some of the darkest parts.
