Photographer’s Note
This is the court house at Revelstoke, between the Monashee and Selkirk mountains. The mountain in the background is Mt Begbie, glowing in the morning light. This court house is unusual for this part of Canada in that it is made of stone and brick, with impressive marble columns. It also has a beautiful bright blue dome.
Scanned from a slide. Polariser used. I used a high f-stop to get maximum depth of field. Photoshop used to emphasise some of the highlights, which made the scan look more like the original slide.

Dear Vincent,
I randomly came across your picture, and the vivid colours, together with the great composition and your POV, drew my attention!
Really good shot, of what seems to be a beautiful place!
