The world's largest tin soldier! Built of stainless steel and standing in its home at Westminster Quay, this big guy was built in 2000 by the Sheet Metal Workers Union. He's quite the sight at a towering 32 feet!

O, now I know one thing that I need to take photo of if I'm in BC :)
I really like the perspective, although yes, how big is it? Would be nice to have something to relate its size.

I have actually never heard of this out in B.C. It does look huge. It looks like one of those Lego men that I used to have.
Good perspective showing just how large it is.

Have enjoyed looking through some of your pictures, you clearly have an eye for composition already,I guess being a painter you would have.Your point of view here is really excellent and the colours are great with a nicely saturated sky. Really well captured. You should take a look at some of Craig Macintosh's pictures (Macjake) he lives in Vancouver too, one of my favourite photographers on here...thanks for sharing.
P.S Its great to see a new member critiqueing so much!
