Photographer’s Note

This shot was taken one morning while awaiting my seaplane flight en route from my home on Vancouver Island back to Singapore- where I currently live.

In this repost, I have adjusted the levels, sharpened the image slightly, and ran it through "Neat Image". I hope you like it...

Hi Dan,
Perhaps through the morning given the blue/gray colours the head tones, the reflections have a pleasant feeling.

I love the colours in the clouds and the reflections in the water. The way you have left a triangle in the bottom left, helps the composition.

Hi Dan, lovely blue hour you captured here. You're a guy of romantic moods right? You dig sunsets, or sunrises, and here the blue hour again. Very nice, very lovely.

hi Dan,
I like your composition a lot. and the foreground is exposed well. It's a pity though with the white sky. and probably impossible to expose both well. still I wonder what kind of effects would you have got, if you had tried to expose the saturated colors of the sky and would have got mainly sillouettes for the foreground.

Magical morning light, Dan, and the bright sky doesn't bother me much. The reflections are great, good pov and I like the way you've cropped fairly tight. Nice work.

Its very nice Daniel, they are good colours in the clouds. The boats look good this early, nice how you managed to capture something good whilst waiting for your plane!
