Photographer's Note
My last photo was of a Classic Canadian mountain scene, and here we have an opposite landscape, a Classic Canadian Country scene.
This type of landscape is easily found when leaving the Vancouver area, or more specifically leaving the Lower Mainland. Areas like this are plentiful about a 3 hours drive east, north east of Vancouver.
Its a beautiful drive, well worth the time and effort. Hope to do it again this summer.
thanks for looking!

Hello Craig,
The kind of picture that deserves a great sky . And this is the case here . Well composed , with the two old huts in the Fg . We can guess some cows grazing in the bg , even the grass is not still very yet , afetr the long canadian winter .

Hello Craig,
There was another Canadian member of TE, no longer active, who specialized in abandoned barns. That is something that Canada and Sweden seem to have in common, apart from ice hockey. At least I can't imagine that there still is a family making a living from this little farm. It's a lovely view, but it must have been a tough life here, and quite boring in winter.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Craig
a glimpse of bucolic Canadian life and a really beautiful glimpse it is too! Glorious greens and blues that look so sharp, idyllic and captivating. Wonderful!
Have a great weekend - regards Brian.

Hello Craig,
A pleasantly lit landscape composition with excellent depth. Composed more or less along classical lines and particularly suiting the panoramic format. Lovely sky.

Bonjour Craig
La seule chose qui manque, c'est l'élévateur à grains. J'imagine le bonheur du propriétaire de cet endroit avec une vue à couper le souffle. Une impression de grand espace.

Just as you want to visit Boston, Craig, I really should carve out a trip to BC. From the beauty of Vancouver to the mountains to great prairie scenes like this, everything I've seen of it suggests a really beautiful place. The wide open feel of this shot, with the big, cloud filled sky and rolling hills, is the very definition of idyllic, and the old barn and farmhouse add nice details.

Hi Craig,
Love the capture, reminds me of my home state of Montana. The off center composition helps expand the size of the capture and gives good context. Well done Craig!

Hello Craig,
it´s definitely something new in your gallery when it comes to subject, but I like this different side of Canada very much.Large spaces and beautiful landscapes-that´s a nice change from a modern architecture.
The scene is excellently composed and framed in wide, panoramic format.I also think these amazing cloud formations contribute largely to the success of your composition and add some nice mood to this rural scene.
Best regards

HI Craig
So cloudy it could have been taken in Wales! I like the compostion with those bands of green and blue dividing up the frame. Foreground interest from the buildings counterbalanced well with the sky. Surprising depth for an f stop of 4.5 though I guess you were working towards the 16mm end of your lens with this one? The trees on the horizon provide the depth as do the clouds that go on forever.

Hi Craig,
this small farm is beautiful located at the lake but i guess the weather conditions could be quite tough here during the winter? I agree with Krzysztof, you have chosen new subjects for your photography. And why not, you do it as good as with street photography. Nice overview of the area, good composition and sharpness,Tfs!
Have a nice evening.

Hi Craig!
You went to the countryside? really:)?
No wonder you like this landscape! It's really amazing! - endless fields and these old wooden houses and fences. Seems taken from an old movie! Even the sky helped! Beautiful shot!
Have a great New Year!
