The eagle flys high.... and low.
We have many resident & migratory bald eagles feasting on home bound Salmon in our inland coastal waters. They air dance & compete in frequent rain storms that stir up the waters & sea life.
They also dive low for all possible land game such as mice, trash at the municipal dump and small ungaurded pets. ;-) I have had to dodge a few times this week as I'm looking up at the underbelly of an eagle & tylons. They are much faster then a Canon G2 upload can handle.

It is nice to see the eagle making a comeback in Canada.Although they have been soaring and nesting along the west coast for quite some time, sightings in Eastern Canada have been hard to come by until recently. They are being seen more and more now in Ontario and Quebec. These magnificent birds of prey seem to be benefiting from the banned use of DDT which once threatened their survival.
What kind of hat were you waearing Jean to draw such close attention from the Eagles? :-)
I see you have mentioned in photo info that this is a color photo but it seems well suited to black and white also.
