Photographer’s Note
This is a close up shot from inside my first photo and the workshop photo will show the reaction of the children looking at the bear behind the man who is telling his story.
In this photo I have to say I have never ever seen such detail. And I came a week after the competition was over too. Look at the eyes and expressions.
I have a friend named Julius ( Corny on Trek ) who took the same shot but he wanted the bear out of focus. At any rate the workshop will show you the little childrens expression to this bear appearing behind the story teller. Enjoy

Here's me thinking I now understand aperture and you took this with f0.7!! I saw your first shot which shows they are quite far apart, so how does that work? Good sharpness. WS good too.

Bonjour Paul,
Best regard and have a good week-end. Friendly.
Daniel.

Great to see the details Paul - the kids are amazing and the DOF and deep shadow modelling on this one work really well.
I still don't get how they do it and how it maintains it's shape for so long. The bear's eyes are really alive.

Great image Paul! I had to read the messages to 'get' how you produced this - very interesting stuff. The finished picture is quite good (and funny!) Well done mate!

Now, I thought this was supposed to be all sand. What are his eyes made of then?
I wish I hadn't found out it was faked. Sometimes things are better left unclear.. but I suppose it is best to know.
