Photographer's Note

The White Pass and Yukon Route is a narrow gauge railroad linking the port of Skagway, Alaska, US with Whitehorse, the capital of Yukon, Canada. The railroad began construction during the Klondike Gold Rush as a means of reaching the goldfields. Today, the scenery of the White Pass route is a great tourist draw. People from cruise ship let the wheels of train keep running.
