Looking through some archive photos I took last August I found this morning mist scene in the Fraser Valley. If the weather conditions are right the morning mist in the valley can often be found across the valley fields. Enjoy!

Excellent shot from the past sumer. Initially, I thought it was a blizzard scene, until I saw trees with full foliage. Warm regards,

You have captured the scene very nicely. The fog makes the scene more effective & real. TFS.

You've captured a splendid landscape, all in pastel tone with a great mist effect.

Hi Paul - fantastic effect from the atmosphere and mist, with the distant objects really fading out because of the moisture in the air. I like the simplicity of this, which means we get to notice the effect without a lot of distractions. Excellent work!

Very nice shot of the valley with layer upon layer. The horizontal look to this image gives a calming effect. Well done Paul.

I like the way the mist is dividing the frame, and the soft haze that is blanketing the ground. I was trying to photograph fog the other day, and wasn't as successful. The leaves poking up through the line of fog is a nice detail.

Paul, I love images like this! Enough detail to see where, what is going on there in the landscape and enough fog to blurr and cover to give the feeling of a mystic enchantment. Great mood that you captured!

The misty layering here is excellent, I like seeing the foliage poking above the fog. There is a very mysterious and alluring mood presenting here. Here in Brisbane we do not often get fog but on the occasion we do it is very thick. I remember visiting the city one morning on the way to uni and I could only see the very tops of a few skyscrapers poking out of the blanketing cloud. It would have been a magnificent photo opportunity. A misty morning usually is a strong indicator of very clear weather the remainder of the day. I would guess here a bit more brightness and contrast would add to the effect. Thanks for the post.

Paul, you have a very impressive gallery. I am starting here but will be working my way through your stuff. This is ver nice and one that is so hard to capture in reality. Your mixes of soft and crisp and the sense of depth are very will executed.
