One of the captivating aspects of this chicken barn setting that attracted my attention to take this photo was the symmetrical grain feeders on both sides of the entrance way.
Poultry farming is an integral part of the Fraser Valley's economy. Many farmers like to decorate their barns up a little. This setting in particular with the red siding, white trim, Mt Cheam in the background, and the moon up in the sky made this a worthy posting for trek earth. Thank you.

I like it although my first reaction was that the bold strikingly red barn was rather "in the face" - abit too strong to my liking. As I looked at this image again, I am actually very impressed by the composition - great colors, details, mountain view, moon, so what more does one want? Very well seen, Paul, and thanks for sharing. Gerald

Superbe photo, les couleurs sont exceptionnelles, le bâtiment symétrique donne un agréable coup d'oeil, le seul petit accro est la traîné d'un avion au centre de la photo qui agace et qui attire le regard.

this shot just LEAPS at you from the thumbnail. The light is awesome and the colors superb. Everything is nice about it, the symmetry, the mountain catching the light in the background, the moon rising. This is a marvelous shot!! Thanks and warm regards,

Woke up early there buddy!
Impressive colours for sure! Nice setup with the magical background. Sharpness is very good.
I also like the composition of lines the barn offers. Nice diagonals mixed with many verticals on the barn and horizontals on the roof. It is like a mix of straight lines with a mix of ad hoc lines in the background.

Superbe lumière qui fait encore plus ressortir le rouge du bâtiment. L'arrière plan montagneux et la lune sont très beaux (la trainée d'avion un peu moins). Je crois que j'aurais coupé le pré en premier plan, trop sombre pour moi.

Vivid red popped on my screen beautifully. The symmetry in the building is indeed a compositional asset. But that backdrop with the snowy peak and the moon is a show in itself. Wish the contrail in the middle wasn't there but eliminating these on PS is not trivial. I think the pic also needs some more depth of field as the mountain is already soft at this small size. Regards,

Hi Paul. Very impressive and colourful shot with well articulated symmetry. The hill with the soft sunrays atop, the fading moon in the blue sky and the poplars in the b/g made a nice composition. Enjoyed. Regards.

Strong deep red caused by the sinking sun gave you really an outstanding picture with a stunning mood. There is a kind of symmetry with the two silio's beside the house. The big mountain on the right and the moon are indeed perfect for this very fine composed image...i like it.

That light ! that red...
Great composition, so straight to the point. Superb background and sky too, all is bright and nicely contrasted, even the moon is there, I just love this.

Wonderful shot Paul! The red colour of the barn really grabs my attention and also stands out very well against the blue and green of the rest of the photo. I like the inclusion of the mountain on the right too, and the moon adds a lot to the image also. Beautiful!

Good light Paul. It really makes the red barn snap. Well done for catching the moon as well. There are plenty of angles, vertical and horizontal lines to focus on.

Hi Paul, The red is brilliantly strong &, the light highlights it so well, great sky with the distant moon is &, nice symmetry is created by the house & silos , I love the overall composition, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

Maybe just a chook barn, but it looks fantastic in your shot, which has framed it symmetrically front-on. The light is absolutely stunning, and the red too. I'm nost sure that vertical trace of cloud or vapour trail looks all that good, distracting from the moon perhaps. But overall, it's a terrific shot.
