Photographer's Note

A second posting showing the sunset at the Fraser River last night. In my previous posting from this scene Daniel Walsh suggested Fire and Ice for a title. I like the thought because the sky portrays flames of fire and the Fraser River has chunks of ice along the shoreline. A quote from Longfellow belongs to this photo.

Softly the evening came. The sun from the western horizon
Like a magician extended his golden want o'er the landscape;
Trinkling vapors arose; and sky and water and forest
Seemed all on fire at the touch, and melted and mingled together.
- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

Enjoy!
