Gosh! You have caught the frosty, pure atmosphere so well here, Karen. The colors, in this light are lovely and you have captured the action so well. The composition works well, with the strong horizontal and the action placed the the right of center. regards kevin

Hi Karen,
Good framing and placement of horse and rider, i like the fact the horse is almost not touching the ground, giving dynamism. Nice colors.
Greetings from Bangkok

Hi Karen,
Very nice photo.Good action shot.TFS.
Cheers,

Hello Karen,

Nice freezing of the action here. The rider seem to be going fast on the horse. Details are good as are the colours. I really like this type of shots, perhaps because I like horses, and you did very well composing a nice image. This remind that the Calgary Stampede is coming up soon.

Hi Karen

A good sports action & decisive moment shot with excellent sharpness on the horse, & good motion blur on the bg. Good to leave plenty of room for the horse / rider to move into, & not have it dead centre. Tfs!

Hello Karen,
A very nice action shot with the horse well placed in the frame and clearly moving at some speed. Very good colours and sharpness. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Hi Karen,
Beautiful moment with attractive composition and the timing is very good. Clarity is excellent, very fine action shot. Have a nice day
George

Hi Karen!

A beatiful scene, great timing in pushing the button and capturing the action, but you also took good care of the composition and the framing! Congratulations!

Hercules

Well done Karen
You have the horse and rider nice and sharp and well placed in the scene such that there is more room in front to ride into.
Good saturation of colours.
Phil

Hi, Karen,
great action shot. I love the way you've managed to give us the feeling of movement and energy. Wonderful lighting, good sharp detail and excellent colors! This is REALLY well done! Many thanks and warmest wishes,
Shelly

Hello Karen,
Good capture of this horse and the rider, good sharpness and details.
Regards

You have done very well with your action shot. The horse has 3 legs off the ground and you composed the image so there is plenty of space in front of the horse.
Well done
Kath

hello Karen,
I've been around horses since I was 12, owned two at some point, but with work that demants constant change of countries (even continents) of residence I could not keep them. now I really miss horseback riding, so I enjoy your photo a lot :) it perfectly captures the joy of speed and wind-in-the-face feeling, I like it a lot. the slight motion blurr adds to the sense of movement, but I think I'd crop quite radically from top and bottom - I think more panoramic format might make the photo even more powerful. but that's a minor point, this still is a great action shot.

with best regards,
Kristine

Nice profile here. It looks like the horse is more clear than the background and foreground which suggests some mild panning that worked well for the image.

Hi Karen,
Good nice shot very dynamic and the horse is well framed in the picture. Beautiful colors and contrasts. Congratulations! Best regards, Consuelo

Dear Karen,
in this shot, I can feel the most high speed in your Riding Lessons series. and surrounding trees, houses, fences and gorund are well captured in it.
the postures of this horse and riding girl make me feel the speed and the wind or the air there.
thank you,
Akihisa

Hi Karen
Nice, dynamic capture. A bit blurred, but interesting scene :)
Regards

Hi Karen, Good action sports photo. The subject is well positioned with more room ahead than behind the horse. The rider is clearly focussed.TFS. Murray.
