Photographer’s Note
This is the St. Nicholas Anglican Church located in the Qu'Appelle valley north of Regina, Saskatchewan. It is my understanding that this quaint little church is still in use as a worship center for locals during the summer months of the year. The entrance door was open because the caretakers were inside preparing for Sunday, which was the next day. I was impressed with how well it has been maintained inside and out - a most delightful landmark in the valley.

Hi, Gerald -
A nice bit of minimalism here. The colors are strong without being over-saturated, and the positioning against those clouds is great. There is also a feeling of isolation - a church out in the middle of nowhere, not even a sidewalk leading up to it. But it does look like it's in use.
Best,
Dan

Looks so isolated. The red comes across very strong. I like the composition with perfect verticals. The cloud looks good on top. Regards,

It looks so lonely in the middle of nowhere. The red roofs really catch the eye even from the thumbnail. Your use of double perspective from this POV works well in the composition as well as having the advantage of showing two facades.

There it stands - and so very well kept with the grey paint and the red roof. Great sky, the clouds are amazing and give the whole picture a special quality. You have the impression that nobody lives here but I guess on Sunday's you might find a lot of cars in the front yard, at least this is the way I have seen it many times and you wonder why they have built the church right here but I am sure it has a good reason. Very nice work, I like it a lot. Enjoy your weekend, Barbara.

Hello Gerald,
All your latest photos are of great beauty, pity that can not be voting for all.
I like the simplicity of this and capture the great contrast of the small church well-painted with the environment.
Beautiful sky and beautiful color and definition.
Good weekend.
Best regards,
Charo

Hi Gerald,
What a charmer you have captured here with its brilliant red roof contrast so beautifully with the blue sky and wispy clouds.
This wonderfully kept wooden chapel really lights up the drab plains this time of year.

Hi Gerald
It's so nice to find a little treasure such as this when we travel. The relatively fresh paint really helps to make it stand out in its surroundings.
Well done.

Hello Gerald,
This is a very special piece of architecture, small but standing out well in spite of its size!
The red roof adds strong colour contrast, and the building seems to be well kept...
A good documentary, and the fine sky makes a great background!

Hi Gerald
Very original church, this kind of architecture does not exist in France; perhaps in Nordic countries.
Good POV showing the whole volume.
Best regards.

Bonjour Gerald;
elle semble avoir poussé la-bas comme un champignon, rien ne l'entoure sauf cette petite route pour lui donner accès.
Sous un ciel magnifique, la couleur rouge de la toiture éclate bien.
Excellente qualité technique et de cadrage.
Regards.
