Photographer’s Note
One of the most interesting aspects of the prairies is not only finding these old homesteads in the middle of a deserted field, but some of these old barns actually have some possessions left behind. Inside this barn was a boat lying on its side, and an old bicycle on the floor. If there is any remaining wheat lying around you are certain to find rats. Besides this a huge set of moose horns, some old window frames and farm equipment.
I thought that by shooting from this angle would bring some interesting focal points from the boat to the doorway and then returning back to the bike lying on its side. There is an old man sitting in an old chair in the sun. I thought he would add interest as well.

Hello Paul.
An excellent shot in not easy conditions of light, well exposed and taken from a well chosen pov.
Best regards.

Hi Paul,
Nice idea here, and you managed a challenging light situation very well - and haven't we seen that old gentleman before? Glad you shared a view of the inside of this old place. TFS. Gerald

Hello Paul,
This is a very original photo. The inside view of the old barn is excellent and the boat, bicycle, and the man sitting viewing out make an excellent composition. I like it very much.
Kind regards,
Betty

Hi Paul
An excellent control of the light in this well composed shot. It makes us think what or who is this man all about.

Hi Paul.
I think you did a good job here, having set yourself a difficult task with all that shadow and the backlighting. The boat makes for very good perspective and the bike adds interest on the right. Including that old fellow was a great idea. The interior is so well captured, and the result is noise free and sharp, and a good example of the use of a very wide angle lens. Well done.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Paul,
first of all I like your idea of the man looking into the light! For us the decaying of the boat and the useless bike lying on the floor is a sad sight! Your photo work is great with an excellent management of the light! TFS!
Warm regards

Hola Paul.
Nice composition, the man looking out side the barn, maybe remembering good times from the past or the difficult times coming ahead, either one your shot is very good despite the light conditions. Very well captured.
Well done.
Best regards.

Hi Paul, The old boat traveling from corner to centre is well positioned & displayes great texture, as dose the floor, there is a nice addition of light let in by the doorway & the bike is an interesting extra, I wonder what the man is thinking? well framed & cropped, TFS, kind regards Wilson.
