Photographer’s Note
As much as I have not been active on this site posting photos lately has not meant that I have been inactive with my camera this last summer and fall. I have chosen to post a photo from the amazing land of the Canadian Prairies revealing details of harvest theme from this last September. The zoom factor here is a compression of about a half a mile to the stop sign revealing a wave effect on the field. This was what first caught my eye for capture. The dark clouds in the background and low angled morning light made it incredible. All from the land of the living skies....which is something you only know from being there.

Hi Paul
Nice to see you back. The light here is incredible and the compression really works well. A fantastic composition.

Paul,
This is an excellent POV. The lines are spectacular, and the illusion of the bales being square instead of round is perfect. Congratulations on a great shot.

Hi Paul,
Welcome back and what better way than to present a gorgeous prairie farm image. Great idea, and yes, the compression factor really works to your favour in this one. Wonderful light and very compelling "movement" in this one. TFs. Gerald

Hello Paul,
An amazing shot! Beautiful light here indeed. The dark background makes this magic carpet stand out beautifully. A bit darker exposure is certainly suitable for this scene.
Have a nice day, Hisashi

Wow, great shot Paul! The compression from the long lens really does the trick here, giving us an unusual view of something familiar. The lighting is great too, especially the way the foreground is in the light while the sky behind is quite dark, which creates a dramatic effect. Great work!

Hi Paul,
Wonderful rich textures and lovely lines to this golden foreground harvest.
The big silver blue sky makes a most complimentary backdrop to this stunning Canadian Prairies image.

Hola Paul.
It's nice to see you my friend, long time without any news from you. Hope this time you will stay.
Wonderful composition, magnificent wave effect with a very good compression factor working very well. Good early morning light despite a cloudy day. Nice picture of the famous prairies.
Well done.
Best regards.
