Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken near Matrous and show the Little Manitou Lake. No it´s not snow you see on the picture. The lake contains five times more Salt than the ocean and contains more salt than the Dead see, which is fare more famous. So if you can´t swim, go to little manitou lake. There are only 5 lakes of that kind in the world and two of them are in Saskatchewan.
Since the early 1800s native people have been bringing their sick to the lake they named after the spirit Manitou.
