Photographer’s Note
Andre and I saw this cool old Dodge next to the side of the road on our way to Regina.
We had to be quick in photographing it though as two dogs from the farm where the car was sitting next to were approaching.

Those old cars do have a soul, don't they?
Right amount of light to convey the mood. Love the soft colours and the soft touch of the setting sun.
Beautiful shot.

Hi Wanda, At first i thought this was a post from Cuba.Origional if a little weathered Dodge, lighting and colours make for a rich image, wonder if it was still a runner?.You had a lucky escape, the image however was well worth the risk. Thanks Tom.

Hello Wanda! How funny, we both are into cars today, but I guess yours is by far more romantic than mine :))) It has seen better days and a little paint would not hurt but this makes the picture work so well, it brings us into another time, into an other area. Wonder if it is still used but maybe it just stands there waiting for a new owner. Lovely light, very nice indeed. All my best, Barbara.

Hello my dear Wanda
What a simple but having a strong message shot!
You illustrate the desolate atmosphere with old cars with much rust and pale light. Usage of wide focus lens is very effective. Perfect calculated composition and very good color management as usual.
Congratulation on your good job !
Thanks for sharing and best regards,

Hi Wanda,
for someone about to get bitten by nasty dogs, this shot seems pretty sharp too me! Nerves of steel you must have! Anyhow light is fine and you positioned the car adequately in the frame. I like it.
Best,

Hello Wanda,
I feel that this end of the day light match perfectly your subject, a good combination of ambience and nostalgia.
The low angle glorify the old car, the corner alignment make it jazzy. The way your clouds are aligned create a diagonal, pursuing is trajectory over the car.
Nice work Wanda, just before the pitbull was about to jump on us... LOL!!!

bonjour wanda,
I definitely like your POV in this shot ... it provides such good perspective. The low light hasn't prevented you from getting rich colours and great sharpness.

helo Wanda
usualy,I am not fan of pictures of car,but here, this is different, because this is an old beautiful car lost in the country, and because the evening light creates a very nice atmosphere and emphasized the colors!Superb!

Hi Wanda,
This is the kind of view I'm more used to from Cuba, but generally they have an urban, say Malecon environment and not this rural canadian flat terrain. More than the dogs you had to run here to catch the last light, there is not much of it here but just enough to highlight the green on the side.
Have a nice day JY
