Photographer’s Note
Pigeons gathering road salt for some unknown reason on a sunny November afternoon in Weldon Saskatchewan. Why the birds were drawn to the salt I cannot say but they 'marched' down the road for about 3 or 4 minutes pecking at the droppings of a salt truck that had just passed.
