Prairie sunset Photo

Photographer’s Note

Delicate grasses as a foreground for a spectacular Prairie sunset near Saskatoon. There was smoke from forest fires up North in the air.
I liked the minimalist approach: just the straight horizon and big sky- and color! And NO PP.

I allways like straight horizon landscape captures and aproaching views. Splendid sunset moment, with a nice cloud formation in the skies and this pink and orange-red sun rays reflection. Your low angle is fantastic and the delicate grasses and the ground in silhouette.

Very good light handling and fine sharpness. Very well seen, done and composed. Excelent enquadrement and composition!

Hi, Marialuisa. A beautiful sunset with a good graduated shading in the clouds. The clouds also make a nice diagonal and the grasses pointing to the sky make a very good foreground.

Good composition with nice, very nice colours.
Also I would like could see that the sharpness is good, but perhaps has been a problem compressing the picture: there is something wrong.
Anyway, the shot is good and the only problem cannot be of when you did the photo.

This is very nice landscape with really dramatic color of clouds and weather situation. I like the silhouettes of grass on the first plane and last rays of sunlight. Good job!
