| The Canadian prairies have long been providing grain, mainly wheat, for the world. But the farmers there have been getting low prices for their crops and many have gone bankrupt. Suddenly there is not enough food in the world and food prices are rising. The grain trains on the prairies are rolling again, taking the wheat and other crops from "inland stations" such as this, far and wide. |
