[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is taken in the small town of Killarney in the Canadian prairies. The building is a grain elevator where wheat and other grain is cleaned, graded, sorted and shipped out by train. This is an old-fashioned elevator, made of wood. They are being replaced by far less interesting large concrete structures.
This was an interesting evening: the sun was setting and gave the glow to the front of the elevator while the full moon was rising behind.
The light was fading fast. I had no tripod and had to use a garden hoe!
Now - a confession. In the original image the moon was overblown. So I cheated. I imported a moon that was almost identical from another image that I took exposed just for the moon.
Apart from that I used levels and hues and a bit of dodge and burn.

Hi John,
wonderful capture. Nice composition. I very like the color of the sky in combination with this building. Looks like from cartoons.
Really interesting architecture of the building.

This is a good shot, of the interesting grain elevators in the prairies.

The photo is extremely noisy though, perhaps running it through neat image would help this. Your secret is safe, as it resulted in a great photo.

Well done with the PP. There is some noise in the sky but it is not that bothersome.
