Photographer’s Note
Me and a good friend drove out to Niverville to check out the small train yard located on the outskirts of the town. We've been doing a lot of train research lately and just wanted to see a few things for ourselves. This was shot during the second photo session of the evening, probably around 8:30PM. These cars were just sitting beside the main track and we figured we'd take a peak what was in these hopper cars. We're calling it shale for lack of any rock knowledge whatsoever.
The cars we inspected became like really good friends, and we had no trouble getting nice and close. No trains came through while we were there, but we will be back for one heading North-East, on which I will undoubtedly snap a lot of scenic pictures.
