Mantioba's Legislative Building is in the distance on the right. The building in the foreground is the Government House of Manitoba, which is the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba.
More information from Wikipedia:
"The Manitoba Legislative Building is the meeting place of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, in central Winnipeg. It was originally named the Manitoba Parliament Building, not Legislative. The neoclassical building was completed in 1920 and stands seventy-seven meters tall (253 ft). It was designed and built by Frank Worthington Simon (1862–1933 and Henry Boddington III, along with other masons and many skilled craftsmen. The building is famous for the Golden Boy, a gold covered bronze statue based on the style of the Roman god Mercury, or the Greek god Hermes, at the top of the cupola, or domed ceiling."

A fine shot and the intriguing architecture of the historic buildings which are so well spaced out in the compo with excellent depth and brilliant light display. The POV is excellent as it holds the eye firmly there, subtle in colours and the immaculate detail. The green fg is lovely boosting the visual aspect of whole scene while the mouth watering skyscape clinches the shot superbly. A well thought out shot seamlessly done. Congrats

Two for one fine view, with the Victorian Government House appearing regal then the impressive top of the Parliament Building's large columns supporting the unique dome.

Hello Caleb ,
The archietctural subject is superb , the angle of view , the framing and tghe exposure are excellent . And I like especially the sky .
However , I think there is a little lack of shrapness in your post . It is easy to avoid that if you add a little touch of sharpness after resizing .
Kind Regards .
PS : I enjoy your comment about Turner , because he is one of my favourite painters (even I'm not really a specialist:))

This is a good view on these two buildings well placed in the image. The light is very good and gives natural colors but the sharpness could be improved. But all in all, a very good composition.
