Photographer’s Note
Taken in Churchill Canada, from a tundra buggy. I was very sad to read that these magnificant creatures might become extinct by the end of the century. The trip to Churchill was amazing, though I hoped all along that our viewing them wasn't disturbing or stressing the bears.

Did you use zoom to take the bear so near?

I aggree Radha, it resembles that of a postcard! Great capture! I wish I had the $$$ to do a trip like that. Nature photography has got to be one of the mose "patience" involved things I have ever done. Congradulations on the shot!
