As I have mentioned on here before, I live very near to a large fire training school. I have a HUGE admiration for these guys!! Here you see them participating in one of their classes. These students come from near and far. One day they just might save your life.

Hi Karen,
I agree with you, these guys do an amazing job. I like this shot showing these men in action.
Well done,
Shaeri

An interesting shot with good action, Karen. The very 'formal' looking arrangement of the figures is very satisfying; it gives a real sense of unity to the action. Regards kevin

Hello Karen,
very good low point of view to catch this scene. This is a very impressive action photo. I bet they were very happy to get such a picture.. Great sharpness and colours as well. Brava.
All the best.

Hello Karen,
A very good action shot of these brave men. The man entering the door at the top of stairs makes a nice juxtaposition with the group at the bottom and adds strength to the composition. Very good colours and sharpness. Well done.

hi Karen

Yes, you are quite right, firemen are a force of rescue teams for modern day city's needs. You have also captured this scene well with the 3 traffic rubber stoppers. I do wonder why the cracked walls appear to be severe, as your shot has provided great sharp details to make them visible.

hello Karen
this photo is a nice homage to these brave men!Very well frame with nice colours!
Regards.

Karen, you obviously have an opportunity to see this again, I would suggest that you get some of the details that make these sorts of training so real to the fire fighters, like the smoky sooty faces as they exit the training afeas, the spray of the water protecting the entry team. This is a nice shot and the color is ok but the potential wasn't completely developed I think.

Greg

Good shot Karen. I like this composition of having one firefighter up and the rest down.
Phil

What a unique opportunity for a photo. The timing was perfect as one guy is entering the building and the steps carry our eye up to him. The smoke adds the realism to the image even though it was just a training exercise. Well done

Hi Karen
I like this geometry of lines created by the stairs and the vertical lines on the right. Together with the people captured it creates a nice picture to look at. It's just that it is very balanced

Hi Karen, Yes firemen certainly do a lot of good work for the community, not only with flames. We live near the bush and the locals do a cold burn to remove fuel wwhich reduces the chance of major fires. I like the POV and strong colours of the hats on the ground. TFS. Murray.
