As alot of you already know, I have a great love for these houses. Many in my community are reaching 100 years now, and it's wonderful to see them well maintained. Hope you'll like it too.

Hi Karen. Nice to see homes with a bit of old time character. Nice photo. I like the ‘through the trees’ look. Good sharpness and detail also. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

Hello Karen,
A good capture of this beautiful home. I like the point of view through the trees. Very good colours and clarity.

It's my dream to live one day in such a house. Nice colours, interesting composition. I like it!
Best wishes,
Achim

Hi Karen.
These are houses with character. I like the way they are open to the street. The trees adorn this one nicely, as trees always should with a house, in my opinion. The house looks so well looked-after. You've captured it nicely on what seems to be a dull day. The detail is sharp and I like the way the house fills the frame. I wonder if kids come tumbling out of that front door. Nicely done.
Regards,
Andrew

Beautifully done Karen with a splash of red in the fence. The old house looks pretty well kept for its age.

Wonderful shot, Karen,
it reminds me of my house I sold to move down here to South Carolina. I love all the nice lines - vertical, horizontal and those neat fish scale trim in blue. I love blue and white and this house looks as though it's been very well cared for all these years. Great shot! Thanks and hope all is well up your way, Kindest regards,
Shelly

It is a very straight on composition, Karen, which seems to suite this solid house. The colors are soft and nice in your Canadian light. Whay do I envy you your cool light when so many envy us our brilliant tropical light? regards kevin

hi Karen

Wow! After a long absence, finally another 100 year old house in your gallery! This really looks unlike its age. I suspect the roof and upper floor is restored for this shape.

Hello Karen,
The subject is well framed and I agree, well maintained!
The image makes a fine documentary with sharp fine details, a well balanced composition...
Greetings,
Pablo -

We rarely see wooden houses in the UK and to see one so well preserved and maintained is wonderful. Nicely framed by the trees which are probably the same age as the house. Well done
Kath
