Ah! Its nice to get this general view, Karen. You have found an interesting format. Again you cool, winterly light gives lovely color. There is a nice sense of movement and excitement as the riders to the right slant as they pull the composition to the left. regards kevin

Hello Karen,
A good point of view showing us the horse and riders sweeping round in a pleasing curve. The panoramic format also works well emphasising the distance between the horses. The tones are a bit sombre due to the overcast sky, but not a great deal you can do about that. Good clarity.

The riders are all nicely placed here but just a little soft. Now your camera should have been at F4 to get the shutter speed up to 1000. Excellent composition.

Hi, Karen -

A nice capture, though I think one second later and you might have brought the horses on the right a little closer and closed the gap. On the other hand, they might have overlapped each other, and that wouldn't be as nice as this one. You pays you money and you takes you chances. :-) And it does show motion and sequence very well - a progression from left to right.

the attempt turned out to be not just an attempt. You got it very good with the different horses at different stages of action providing almost the feeling of a movie in sequence.

Hello Karen
A good POV which shows the riders forming a broad curve. Like the two riders in front in a gallop. The pano format suits this picture very well. Light is not the best, but the action has been well captured. Good work Karen!

nice dynamics captured with the rider pannin gout on your wide format crop. excellent composition, but i agree with greg: this would hav been easier in better light. well, that being said, i realize, who knows if the riders would lay out as nicely whenever the better light came in :)
