It's a clean, crisp, image, with good light. The composition give an idea of the area with a glimpse of other buildings in the background.

Hello Karen,
there are a couple of things that immediately get my attention here. The first is that the light is very good, very soft and from a good angle to show the detail of the barn facade. The other thing is the incredible contrast of color of the barn against the grey sky. The resulted atmosphere is lovely. Brava.

interesting color and shape of this barn you took.
among the green field and the blue (actually light blue in it) sky, this red looks so vivid, and sharp roof shows its humorous dignity. because this wall looks like a face with horns.

Red barns always attracted to me and I find a lots of these in canada also in US! they have a character in itself and I find them beautiful especially in the winter time with snow!
