This is Galatea Creek,your buddy for a few km if you want to go from Highway 40 to the lakes,Galatea Lakes.
The trail is going along this river in a pretty deep forest,and the bear smell can be quite convincing to keep up the good pace:)

Hi Nelu;

A quaint little creek to photograph- that's one thing I miss about Canada as Singapore has no such creeks...

The composition is quite nice, a bit too contrasty for my personal preference though. How did you attain the dream-like effect?

Cheers,
- Dan

Hi Nelu, beautiful river shot with the polarizer doing a very good job with the reflections. It's a very contrasty image and I think you might needed an ND filter to smooth the water into silky foam. Of course you could also increase the time to 1 or 2 seconds and achieve the same results, but you should also decrease the f from f11 to f22 or something similar.

Hello Nelu,
I like the atmosphere you have captured in this colourful & clear scene.

Hello Nelu,

The Galatea Lake is a beautiful place but I thought the trail is too uninspiring because the views are limited. The image is pretty, well composed with Nelu's colours and sharpness. A tranquil place to enjoy some peace away from civilized Calgary. Take care Nelu and maybe I will see you in June. I'll be away the last two weeks of May.
