Roberto,
great moment of action and certainly a thunderous noise. Good reflexes yours not to sh** in your pants, but grab to your camera and get this top notch shot. It really doesn't give the impression that it required a lot of adjustments etc and loose the moment. You nailed it!

Salut Roberto,
A sense of elevation with this good vertical composition. 3 layers of distinct colors, blending together to convey the great outdoor feeling of the Rockies. But this avalanche must be something memorable indeed. Good reflex to grab your camera; you achieved some good results of this decisive moment.
Cheers!

Bonjour Roberto,
Quelle vue!
Cordialement,
Marianne

Hello Roberto,
I can easily understand it was a highlight of the trip!
For the photo, even without the avalanche, the photo would have been good with this composition and the colors and the rocks. This park seems very nice for hiking.

Hi Roberto,
Spectacular image, not something we see that often and the way you captured this is very good. I like this one better than the ws version, shows more and has much better light..great work.

Hello Roberto,
Before reading the note I wonder if it is fog or an avalanche we can see!
The action is well captured, even in this steep mountain side some snow remains to make an avalanche...
Well framed with sharp fine details, a good feeling of depth!
Greetings,

Hi Roberto,
Beautiful mountain scene, I like the green trees in the FG and the stony mountains, but what impresses me most is that white mist of snow contrasting with the intense blue sky. To capture an avalanche--great opportunity !

Hola Roberto,
an interesting moment especially considering there does not seem to be too much remaining snow and this white clouds brings contrast within the rocks, good result for an instinct picture.
Have a nice day JY

Hola Roberto

Hi Roberto,
just the right moment to have an impression about the avalanche by the dust of snow. The close up seems to be a moment later. The strong colours work fine here make together with the contrast the impression powerful.

Hi Roberto:
Fabulous capture. You are such a photographer. :) Grabbing your camera when everyone else is worrying for their lives. The colors here are quite good, as is the composition, especially considering the moment. Great capture, and thanks for sharing it with the rest of us.

Hello Roberto,
Great action shot! I can imagine the roar of the avalanche, and the screaming in your group. Four-hundred and twenty years ago Galileo Galilei was attending mass in the Duomo of Pisa, when a small earthquake shook the city. Galileo noticed the chandelier swaying back and forth, and timed it against his own pulse -- while those wiser than Galileo (everyone else) ran out of the Duomo. He discovered with experiments later that the period of the swinging chandelier (a pendulum) was proportional to the square root of the length of the rope, and not the mass or amplitude. Galileo, if he had witnessed this avalanche would have grabbed his camera rather than take off.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hola Roberto,
It would take an experienced mountaineer to react to the thunderous noise quickly evaluating the situation and then by grabbing his camera. And you are rewarded with an outstanding capture.

Beautiful vertical presentation of the decisive moment in nature. The brilliant blue sky contrast powerfully with the grey and yellow cliffs and tall evergeeens. Wonderfully clear crisp colors with excellent sharp details to this beauty.

Hello Roberto
I can almost hear the noise here as the avalanche rolls down. The layers of distinct colors, green, brown & blue looks great & the steep rocks captured well in the vertical frame. But it's your timing which was fantastic here, capturing a terrific moment. In the zoom shot, the avalanche looks more like a thundering waterfall. Excellent!
Regards
Angshu
Hi Roberto. Right place right time, and safe distance also! And you were calm enough to capture a sharp well composed shot. Wonderful colour also. Thanks for sharing.

Sadly, we can not hear the noise it makes coming down.
Good depth coming from the inclusion of the trees in the front.

Hola Roberto.
