Hello Roberto,
Hahahah, funny subject today. In fact it remembers me a shot I took in Mt Blanc range some years ago with the same kind of subject. I will try to find it back to put it in TE. I think you will appreciate also.

And here you come as your promise another beautiful mountain view from this place. I think its interesting to include the wooden restroom and the colour really adds point to the picture. I love to see the formation on the bg. Nice shot Rob....tfs.

G'day Roberto!
Maybe a better description would've been "Loo with a View"!! The Pentax in your hands is working well - great sharpness, colours and details. And thanks for the interesting notes, too.

Beautiful landscape shot, well cropped and composed. Good sharpness and depth of field.

Hi Roberto,
I am a bit confused about that restroom as the hut for living is close to that. Seems to be a place for bad weather but then without sight, the hut would be better in this case, or not?
But well done capture with that small wooden restroom before the wide mountain scenery. The light is great.

Hallo Roberto!
An interesting, an inventive and not everyday panorama view. The inclusion of the hut adds a lot to this scenery. A good idea!
Greetings from springlike Germany - and have a nice weekend!

Roberto, this is too funny, and I bet it is cold beyond belief, I guess I am just too domesticated. Your colors and detail are fantastic, great shot.

Joli coup d'œil et belle touche d'humour (pas besoin d'emmener de la lecture ici, la contemplation du paysage suffit à faire passer le temps). Très belle qualité d'image également.

Haha, this reminds me of a shot that Larry took in Bodie with the title "A loo with a view". It seems to me that this would apply to this image too. Very good composition and definition to the point that I even can read the letters on the door. Wonderful backdrop to a wilderness that inspires me with awe.

Hola Roberto.
This is the loo with the most beautiful view in the world, nice place in the summer but I imagine siting there during a very cold day without heater, it's really scary. Well done.

Hello Roberto,
The wonderful image of the outhouse perched on the hill reminded me of a joke that I just told my little grandchildren, and they are repeating to their friends: Two little Chinese American boys roll an outhouse down the hill. The father confronts the children, "Who pushed the outhouse down the hill?" he bellows. "Not me!" Not me!" responds to the two children. The father repeats his question, and again, the children, claim, "Not me!" Not me!" Then the father sits them down, and relates a familiar story: "When George Washington was a little boy, he cut down a cherry tree. His father asked the young boy, "Who cut down the cherry tree?" George Washington responded, "I cannot tell a lie... it was me!" Then the Chinese American father explains to his sons, "George Washington's father rewarded his son, giving him a slice of a cherry pie for telling the truth." Then the father continues, "I am asking you one more time. Who pushed the outhouse down the hill." The boys look at each other, and each admits excitedly, "I chopped down the cherry tree, daddy." But the father then grabs the children and gives them a good thrashing. The boys are puzzled, and, as they cry, ask their father, "Why didn't you reward us for telling the truth?" The father, nodding his head, answers, "George Washington's father was not sitting on the cherry tree, when George Washington cut it down!"
Fabulous shot, and a photograph I will show my little grandchildren.

Hi Roberto,
Now that is what I call $hitting on top of world! Your light is very good here and even with f/11 there is very good separation from the background and the outhouse. I also like that you didn't let the outhouse and the mountain tops blend together. In other words very nice composition.
Hope things have been well,

Roberto,
Nice capture of one great commonality of the world. I posted a similar picture from the Trek Earth meeting at the Bodie Ghost Town, but whoever built that outhouse had the good sense to put a window in it so he could appreciate the view. I used to work in a camp in the mountains that had an outhouse with a wonderful view, but alas, no window, so I would just leave to door open. Luckily it was in a much warmer clime!

But when somebody goes to it, one can enjoy these wonderful mountain views and to be already in very good mood when enter it :))
Very well-taken shot, TFS!
