If you look carefully, you'll spot my final destination of the rocky, eroded spires of the "Hoodoos", in the mid distance, beyond the bald, yellow-red spur.
Then it's a short detour to Tunnel Mountain Road, for the local bus back into the town of Banff. The cyan color of the water in the river far below, at right, is natural, & caused by river flour, from glacial meltwater. In the bg, are the snowcapped Canadian Rockies.

I like the contrast of the dark green tones of the fir trees against the mist shrouded mountains. A good sharp image, thanks for sharing.

nice place, the scenic beauty is fascinating. The greeneries are nice with the gorgeous snow peaked mountains in BG. Great light and colours. Very well composed shot.
PS- I previouly took a this type of shot from such high POV. There I found the trees are distorted. But it is not happened here. I would like to know how it can be avoided. Thanks.

The trees in the foreground lead my eyes toward the Rocky mountains which is giving depth to tyhe composition. The trees are framing well the mountains. The river on the right is an extra to the composition. The quality of the light is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Chris: These evergreen looks so lush with traces of yellowish colors. The details are so well observed against the mountain and nice sky. Good framing and well done. Jusni

I don't quite understand what you mean with "the rocky, eroded spires of the 'hoodoos'" but I do appreciate this super mountain landscape. Struggling with my poor eyes I think I can see a kind of whitish rock pyramid-shaped like a fir tree, is that it? This place makes me feel like returning to my hikes in the Alps... I miss them. And it seems you are fond of it because I remember you posted other pictures of this place...
The photo is masterly composed with a pleasant view of the pines in the fg, the diagonal of the trail, the glimpse of the lake below and the superb distant mountain range. There is an excellent sharpness which allows one to distinguish each pine needle!
