Photographer’s Note
I know that Moraine Lake perhaps the most common picture here in TE due to obvious reason. I was there for two weeks.
This photo taken around 10:30 AM. I took several pictures earlier time and at later time.. they all came out with different colour of water, different reflection on the water etc. But this time of the day is my fave ( I didn't try the sunrise time though... )
I used the GD filter for the peak, but funny thing is the reflection on the water shows over expose..
This spot is still higher than my expectation even after seeing hundreds of Moraine Lake picture in the internet. The spot that brought me to the beauty of Banff/Jasper National Park in Canada.
I didn't use tripod and haven't edit anything except cropped the picture little bit.
Just added : I forgot to put Polarizer used for this photo. That would explain the great color of this picture.

Artesia,
Amazing shot! It's nice to see a shot from Moraine Lake that hasn't been photoshopped beyond recognition! Great lighting, great contrast and colors...the only thing I notice is that it is a little soft, but that could be from resizing the photo. Great job on capturing the natural beauty of this area without feeling the need to "improve" the scene!

You did a great job in this classical Rockies spot featuring six of the Ten Peaks. I love the natural color and light and the filter did a great job. The small patch of snow bellow Mount Tuzo is overexposed, but I don't think this is a flaw. Beautiful mirror at this time of the day, but I do think that you could have increased the luminosity of the mid-tones a bit, for a completely natural feel: this spot is really bright at 10:30 am.

Artesia,
This is a fantastic photo! The reflection is great and provides nice balance and depth for the shot.
The lighting and colors are great as is the sharpness and DOF. The play of sunlight and shadow provides nice contrast throughout the scene.

HI Artesia
A place often presented on TE, but it's nice to see it again and again because this place is awesome. With this closer framing you put emphasis on the reflection in the still water mirror, and in such images it's always nice to see that rendering is better in the water part
have a nice day JY

Hello Artesia,
It's easy to understand why photographers are attracted to this place. The reflections are fantastic and the saw-like peaks are really impressive.

Hello,
Effectively, you went in a great place, and you came back with a great shot. Not always easy to succeed in this way. I understand you are happy of this shot, I am too :-)
Now, you have to make a large print.
Yves.

A natural mirror, indeed!
Polarizer did a very good work and thanks to steady hand the scene was written perfectly on sensor!
Very clear and sharp image with beautiful colours!
Canada is a great country with fantastic nature!
Best wishes for 2010,
Athanasios.
