Photographer’s Note
It wouldn't be a rodeo without the clowns. Besides entertaining, they work very hard for the safety of others, often risking their own lives to do so.

Hello Karen,
They are very colourfully dressed these clowns. Pity we can't see their faces, do they have made up faces like circus clowns. I like the guy sitting nonchalantly on the fence in the background and the flag, which stands out splendidly against the lovely green trees. Very good colours and sharpness. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Karen,
A very colourful picture! What do the clowns do here at the rodeo, do they ride horses also?
Kind regards

Hi Karen,
Another fine Redeo image with these colorfully clad clowns that risk life and limb for little or no glory.
The colors and sharpness are right on here.

Hi Karen,
Interesting having the New Zealand flag flying in the background, I'm wondering what that is doing in Alberta.
I once worked on a television commercial using cowboys and Brahmin bulls, the rodeo clowns were worth their weight in gold.
Lovely composition, each clown with their own particular stance.
Top quality too, well done.

Peter

A rodeo is something I have always wanted to experience and have never been in the right place at the right time. Excellent series you are puting together, and yes from what I hear the clowns play an important role and couldn't be left out. Very colourful image with excellent detail.

Hello Karen -
You are so right - what is a rodeo without the clown. This is a spot on image on many fronts: the layers (clowns, fence/flag, and the trees), the colors, and the inclusion of a lady clown (the glass ceiling has been broken). Excellent image and worthy of framing or entering in a local photo contest. Well seen and presented. Bravo!
Thank you for sharing.
