Pincher Creek, Alberta, Canada.
The photo was taken during my summer trip along the southern *belt* of province of Alberta, nearby the Canada-USA border.
This area is very famous for windy weather, probably 300 days a year it carry strong winds. Many Dutch and Mennonites colonies has these windmills installed and operates as a sources of electricity for all their needs : commercial and personal.
Dozens and dozens of them can be seen everywhere in the Pincher Creek, Crowsnest Pass, Frank's slide, Blairmore, Cowley.
To be cont'ed...

beautiful and peacefully scene with the windmill to dominates the place as outlined perfect against the sky.The placement of the wooden poles on the left make the scene more effective.

A very interesting landscape post with so many lovely and colorful layers! Like the color combination here from green, blue to white. Very charming and eye-catching work. Well done!

Wind-turbines are the future cleanest egergy source, Mike, and on older times it was already known, even before fossil-fuel was introduced.
Lucky enough, most turbines placed on open area in nature's, and photographers can benefit from green sourroundings and mountains decor on Bg.
Just like you managed nicely here.
