Photographer’s Note
At the Railyards in Kipp near Lethbridge, a sideswipe derailment caused these cars to tip over, one of which was a load of grain. The picture was taken during the course of my investigation (Safety Related Incident) early the next morning.

Hi Otto,
An interesting documentary photo showing tipped cars and the grain well in warm, low light. If you only had found a way to avoid that overexposed sky...

Otto I like this and the next photo Easy Does it. I for one am getting awfully tired of CN derailments in BC. Two weeks ago 8 cars dropped coal into the Thompson River. Then while they were investigating that spill another derailment happens three days later in the same area. What is going on with the rail system? Is safety not important any more?
