Photographer’s Note
Living on the prairies is an opportunity to experience "big skies" (as they call them in Montana). Here I've tried to record it using a wide angle. Sky enhanced with a polarizing filter (and a grad filter, too).
PP: A sharpen, resize, and frame.
PS. Now that I look at this shot, I think I should get out a ladder and raise the camera several feet to include the prairie as a middle ground. (That's what singal-womb would do!)

Hi Mike
There is a great feeling of space here, you've done well to capture that.
Great focus on the nearby grass, nice and crisp - nothing for me to dislike here.

Land of living skys! I'm a big fan of sky shots, so I really like this. My problem is always trying to find an interesting foreground - something you managed to do. Well done!

Bonjour Mike,
Ces graminées apportent un peu de relief dans cette campagne très plate. Le nuages et nuées du ciel sont bien organisés. Ensemble très agréable à l'oeil. Merci.

Love the separation of the land and sky. The few stands of grass sticking way out into the sky is awesome.
