Photographer’s Note

Some hikers at the junction of the main track to Lake Agnes Teahouse, & the track to the top of 'Little Beehive Mountain' in the background.. I liked the warm cold color contrasts, layering & vertical vs diagonal lines here.

Taken on the way up to Lake Agnes Teahouse, which closes early October. This area is up behind Lake Louise, in Banff National Park, in the Canadian Rockies.

Magnificent mountain scenery. The path seems quite carried over. I like the great rocks in the foreground and the inclusion of the trekkers. Excellent colors, great light and good sharpness.

The trees and the rocks are framing well the people. The point of view from the bottom toward the sky is giving perspective to the composition. The nice blue sky is sending a light which is giving a good contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.

Après le bord de mer, nous voici en pleine montagne. Mais que peuven se raconter ces hikers ? ;o)
Superce ciel polarisé et des traces de neige qui rafraîchissent un peu l'atmosphère d'une Corse bénéficiant toujours d'un climat estival.

There is a certain pleasant irony in your title. The sight in light low-angle shot makes cliff imposing. The rocks of the foreground give the depth which is appropriate for this superbly coloured image and clear. An good idea, perfectly put in image. Cheer.

I can't help wondering what they were discussing. Another excellent shot from your hike to Lake Agnes, bringing back memories from the summer of 96. The tall pines and Beehive Mountain warranted the use of vertical format.
