This is the Elbow River near Forgetmenot Pond. The pond is quite beautiful, but a little tame. Not so the nearby Elbow River. I could hear it from the pond's shores, so I found a short (50 feet) unofficial path down to the gravel flats along the river. It was one of the wildest and most overpowering experiences I've had in a long time. No sign of civilization, even though it was a 10-minute walk away. Nobody else around. The loud, rushing river, and the sun struggling to break through the haze caused by nearby forest fires. Early morning tranquility and beauty. I loved it.

Fantastic remote place. What a feeling of solitude. Marvelous landscape beautifully presented. Superb shot.

The low point of view is very well chosen and you had a beautiful light, especially in the background.

Excellent POV, very well balanced composition. The light is very subtile and the stones in the FG add depth to the picture.
Have a nice day,
