Beauvert Lake is a small lake very close to the township of Jasper. It is next to Jasper Park lodge which can be seen in the distance.
We had heard that there were grizzly bears on the adjacent golf club and we drove to this area in the hope of seeing them. We never did see the grizzly bears, in fact the golf groundskeeper advised us to leave for our own safety, but we were rewarded with this beautiful view.

I always love the clarity of water in the lakes up in Jasper and along the Icefield Parkway. Also the water logs laying on the lake floor add to the photo here. Very nice lake photo Marlene.

Thanks for sharing this one! The view is breathtaking, and the water is very clear! Great capture on this lake, well exposed with vibrant colors! I'm just excited to step into canadian soil next week, hope I get to see lots of these during my stay there!
All the best,

The lake is so clear that we can see all the rocks and the wood on the bottom of it. Further away, the water gets a beautiful blue colour by the reflected sky.
Splendid nature shot!
Best regards, Paul

I like your first shot from Canada. Amazing landscape, clean and unspoiled. Too bad you didn`t saw the grizzly..by the way, i saw my first bear for 2 weeks ago, only 2 kilometers from my old farm in the north of Sweden:)
I like your composition with the rocks in the foreground, very good reflections and colors also, Tfs !
Have a nice evening.

Quite an incredible place, the beauty is amazing. I am never into landscape alot but this is inspiring and so well captured. The depth with the closed aperture (f/18) really works well here. It seems like you just had a big trip..where did you go? Can't wait to see more shots.
