Photographer’s Note

A fountain sculpture and apartment building pointed upwards along the bank of the North Saskatchewen River in Edmonton, Canada.

From a Raw photo - cropped, dodged, and burned in Photoshop CS3. Some radial blur was also added to the sculpture to cut down on the grain.

ici, la distortion joue plutôt à l'avantage de la photo, un penchement qui a l'air d'augmenter l'imposance de ces buildings qui se dressent sous un ciel finement décoré que tu as très bien capturé.
Un post processing bien élaboré.

Hi Doug,
this is differnt, I've been only once in Edmonton and it was winter, so not much to remember except for the mall ;)
I like this view, I think I remember a similar shot you have, but the fountains looks nice and original and you captured very well the architectural details. the position of the sun together with the crispy clouds add a lot of value to the image
