This is a gazebo and some apartments that face the North Saskatchewan River in the center of Edmonton.

From a Raw photo - HDR - Cropped and color altered in Photoshop CS3.

Great sky here, and I love the curving slats of the gazebo leading the eye toward the buildings and the center of the photo. The wide angle really does nicely here. Well done.

Hello Doug,I like your composition with the gazebo placed beautifully in the frame, but the star of your shot has to be the wonderful sky.
It is a lovely bg for the textures of the trees and buildings.

I must admit I'm stunned by your gallery. It is fantastic! And it makes me depressive. Everything that I'm lousy at you do it to its perfection. :) This is one of my favourite. It has superb choice of motives placed inside the capture, use of my favourite lens, it combines fantastic scenery with architectural elements, all packaged in brilliant composition. My compliments.
