Alberta Prairie Photo

Photographer’s Note

Alberta, Canada, has a very diverse landscape. Endless Prairies and the Rockies in the West. That makes Alberta a special place for me, because I like both. Some may wonder why I chosse Edmonton as City. Sure this picture does not show the center of Edmonton but it´s very close to it. I don´t remember the next city to it, because maybe there was none which to remember. The population of the prairies is not very dense.

10/10 for the wonderful colors!! lush green grass in the foregound, warm yellow fields and cool blue sky! the contrast in the clouds is lovely. i liked the fact that u added the wooden stump and the barbed wire. makes the composition dramatic rather than just having the fields and the sky.

i like this photo a lot. The composition is real good with the foreground. The big open landscape and the fantastic sky, makes this to a very nice photo.

Hallo Andreas,

ich mag solche unendlichen Landschaften!
es sind Ansichte, die nur in Nordamerika zu finden sind...unendlich....farbenvoller...ich mag besonders den kontrast zwischen den Feldern und der HImmel.

Andreas,

I am not from the prairie but on a trip to Mt. Rushmore I fell in love with them. Your shot is very good and the sky certainly cooperated for the shot. Color is great and I like the barbed wire in the frame. Well seen and captured.
