Photographer’s Note
This picture is taken in Edmonton City Centre. I do not remember exactly where it was. This was one of my first picture with my Canon 20D that was my the first DSLR.

Hello Serdar...
This photo is of the pool in front of Edmonton's City Hall. It is one of the features of the city centre plaza. During the summer, the water jets are turned, providing a wonderful place for children to find respite from summer's heat. As you took the photo on August 12, I would have expected to see some of those children in the pool but the clouds suggest a cool day, which probablty accounts for their absence. During the winter, the pool is allowed to freeze over, making an ice skating rink and a frozen plaza which is used for a number of winter festivals, including the city's First Night celebrations on New Year's Eve.
While the photo suffers somewhat because of the overcast sky (on a bright clear day, the water jets sparkle and refract the sunlight like liquid diamonds), you have nonetheless captured the scene very well - good job.
Peter
