Photographer's Note

The Law Courts are located on 99 Street, east of the City Hall and south of the Royal Alberta Museum. Constructed in 1972 in the Brutalist architectural style and opened in 1973, the structure occupies 6 floors above and 2 floors below ground. On the main floor, there is a large reception area. Within these walls, hearings are held for the Provincial Court of Alberta, Alberta Court of Queen's Bench, and the Alberta Court of Appeal.
