Between Calgary and Drumheller one can appreciate endless canola fields. They extend for many kilometers along the highways. This area is beautiful not just because of the yellow blankets of summer but also because of its cowboy tradition. This one field is found near the Horseshoe Canyon.

A scene which could be an artist's canvas!
A limited colour palette but that is very vivid and beautifully composed.
This is Canada, vast and open.
Have a lovely day,

C'est la bonne période pour visiter l'ouest canadien, quand le canola est en fleurs et rend le paysage jaune de bonheur. Les belles touches de vert donnent de la profondeur à l'ensemble.

Such a huge yellow field is certainly impressive. And it is interesting to see a gree 'river' passing through it. I just wish the sky was blue to complement yellow.
