[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Like Salt Lake City, Cardston Alberta is center to a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) Temple. The temple is very beautiful from the outside. It draws some parallels to Frank Lloyd Wright's Prairie School of architecture, which is appropriate sitting here on the prairies.

I wish I could say something about the inside, but the church does not let non-members inside. Luckily the Vatican, Westermn Wall, and the Dome of the Rock do not follow this precept. Even though we volunteered our guests to join the church, that didn't get us in.

So this is the House of Mormon, I wonder what lays behind them doors Mike. As a child when I heard there knock Id run and hide till the danger passed. For the promise of many wives Id be tempted to take a look now. Very good composition and effective DOF keeping all in focus. Well done.

Hello Mike,

I have never been to this place, though I have lived in Alberta for 18 years. This is a very nice building.
Very good composition with a good PoV and colours.

Cheers,

Roberto
