The Three Sisters - Canmore AB
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Continuing with my posts from Canmore, Alberta: here is one of the Canadian Rockies' most recognisable mountain skylines - the trio of peaks known as The Three Sisters. This pic was shot from close to the Greyhound Bus pickup point, alongside the Canadian Pacific Railway line, as I waited for my ride back to Calgary on a beautiful September afternoon.

Hi Jeff,
What a spectacular view with those impressive mountains in the background. It seems that it's a lack of contrast in the foreground specially.I've done a WS to see what I mean.
Well done and thanks for sharing!
regards,
Horatiu
Hi Jeff,
Great shot of the Three Sisters. I quite like the composition with lots of trees in the foreground. Very well done and TFS. Gerald
Jeff,
Fantastic capture. I like the green/blue contrast here. The green really pops forward and is full of life against the blue mountains which feel like cold, dead rock compared to the greens. The mountains also really pop out since they are so high contrast when their peaks are surrounded by near-white clouds.
This is a beautiful landscape that I have enjoyed looking at and thinking about.

Hi Jeff,
your image is really beautiful! The frame is very good having the peaks nicely exposed in the background. The details are fine and the depth of the field excellent, too.
You have a great gallery! Thank you for sharing.
Greetings from Greece,
Athanasios.
