The folks in Canmore do it tough for scenery, eh? This shot was taken on a glorious early fall morning from the banks of the Bow River. It is little wonder that Canmore, just a few miles from Alberta's international city of of Calgary, attracts many resident artists and photographers, as well as tourists like myself.

Well! One of your greatest images yet. I am increasingly impressed with your extensive gallery of fine images. You have composed this one well with the rocks in the FG, a well lit middle and unbeatable background. The sharpness of those peaks, and well defined ridgelines against that sapphire sky are an amazing element in this photo. Very good sharpness and pleasant POV. I hope I one day see this!

Hi Jeff, beautiful spot and well captured in this shot. I looks like you have late afternoon playing for you with those long shadows. Very nice sharp shot of these Rocky Mountains. Canmore becomes another must visit location.
