Gerald, very nice shot, is that the slopes of a mountain climbing up into the clouds center frame? Great detail and I love the shadows on the tops of the trees and the great lighting on the front of the trees at the water line, great capture.

It looks a gorgeous place, indeed. This is a balanced composition with fine reflections and beautiful colors. I always want to stay for a long time near places like this one but the time is not enough for getting back.

A beautiful part of nature, it looks so nicely virgin, the lake gave you good reflections that togethter with the clarity from the water attenuate a bit a rather dark overall impression, though I have to tell I'm currently viewing it ona bad screen.

I can't seem to get any decent reflections shots these days as it is always too windy. We went to the English Lakes just for the day last week, but not much autumn colour yet, and certainly no reflections. I'll just have to enjoy your reflections vicariously. Again you have the gorgeous autumn colours and a lovely sky. The two corners of foreground are nicely balanced by the framing of the trees at the other side of the lake; the taller tree on the left and the mountain slope at the right. Well done

Again works nature as a wonderful mirror, but here are the reflections also beautifully distorted and create a nice abstract view. The colours and light are very pleasant. Great work!

I'm not sure what lake this is but I am guessing Mud Lake. In anycase the image is very nice. I like the reflections and the little bit of mountain on the right. Looking at the sky I realize that K-Country has either a beautiful blue sky woth some clouds or a grey sky. In this case is the beautiful one. Thanks Gerald :-)

I'm a sucker for water and clouds, Gerald, especially when done as tastefully and vividly as this. So let me just jump in with the others in congratulations. You convey the calm and glory of this place quite well. It's probably getting a bit cool for picnicking, but it does look like a very inviting spot. Nice use of the clouds and all the reflections to add interest. Good framing, too, both in the software and the foreground composition.

Stunning view and wonder if that is a mt.(see Greg) peaking below the cloud too? The horizontal line of color in the grasses make this image pop. Nice job on the framing color choice too.
